1. Scope

These terms apply to any use of GameGuessr, the quiz service operated under the GameGuessr brand.

2. The service

GameGuessr is a quiz service that uses Steam store images and game metadata. Features may include solo and multiplayer rooms, image quizzes, category map mode, VIP plans, and related tools provided by the operator.

Questions may include horror, violence, or other themes present in the source games. GameGuessr aims to keep clearly adult sexual content out of the public pool, but because data comes from external stores and games change over time, complete exclusion is not guaranteed.

GameGuessr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks or registered trademarks of Valve Corporation. Game titles and artwork belong to their respective rights holders.

3. Accounts and login

Some features require Steam login. You are responsible for your devices, browsers, and login environment. GameGuessr does not receive Steam passwords and relies on Steam OpenID (or equivalent) for authentication.

Display names and other inputs you provide must not be abusive, impersonating, or otherwise inappropriate. You grant the operator a limited license to store and display that data as needed to run rooms, profiles, and support.

4. Paid features

GameGuessr may offer paid VIP benefits such as larger rooms, unlimited rounds, and custom room codes. Payment is processed by the configured payment provider (for example Robokassa). Prices, renewal, and refunds follow what is shown at checkout and applicable law.

VIP supports the project and unlocks convenience features. It does not change quiz scoring fairness. Benefits and pricing may change; material changes will be announced with reasonable notice when practical.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Illegal activity or disruption of the service
• Impersonation, harassment, or abusive display names
• Unauthorized access, scraping, bots, or score manipulation
• Abuse of rooms, payments, or feedback channels

6. Availability

The operator may limit, suspend, or change parts of the service for maintenance, abuse prevention, legal reasons, or operational needs. Planned downtime that materially affects use will be announced when reasonable.

7. Liability

The service is provided as available. Steam store data, images, and prices may differ from the live store. To the extent allowed by law, liability is limited to ordinary direct damages caused by the operator’s breach, excluding indirect or consequential loss.
